Jonesville United Methodist Church

Dear Friend,

Welcome to the web site of Jonesville United Methodist Church. I am the pastor of our congregation and would like to tell you a little bit about myself.

I received a Master of Divinity from Yale Divinity School in 1976, and have served five churches in thirty-three years of ministry, all within the greater Capital district. I love leading worship and building up the Body of Christ. I look forward to helping Jonesville UMC grow as a church, strengthen its ministry, and reach out to the world with love.

I have two children, a daughter Sarah, who is a graduate student in biochemistry at the University of California-Davis, and a son Matthew who is a science educator at the Schenectady Museum. My wife Mary works as a high school guidance counselor.

My hobbies include sailing, bee keeping, choral singing, shape note singing, classical music and building projects.
