Pastor, David Lockwood

David received a Master of Divinity from Yale Divinity School in 1976, and have served five churches in thirty-three years of ministry, all within the greater Capital district. He loves leading worship and building up the Body of Christ. David has helped Jonesville UMC grow as a church, strengthen its ministry, and reach out to the world with love. David has been with Jonesville since 2009.

David has two children, a daughter Sarah, who is a graduate student in biochemistry at the University of California-Davis, and a son Matthew who is a science educator at the Schenectady Museum. His wife, Mary, works as a high school guidance counselor

His hobbies include sailing, bee keeping, choral singing, shape note singing, classical music and building projects.
